Supporting the new addiction...

...with the slightly-less-new hook addiction. Passenger seat crafting of the birthday kind. Crocheted, buttony hair ties for embellishing the celebratory pressie. You can whip up two of these in the time it takes to get from my place to Myuna Farm (where there is a veritable world of under-eight birthday partying previously unbeknownst to moi).

More speed, less haste on the way home. I have three up my sleeve for next week. Which is a great help because there’s a birthday girl dress yet to begin. Yikes!

Christmas? Did somebody say Christmas?

Oooh! They're a bit flash and am impressed that they were made in the car. I have an aunty who did a bit of that sort of thing in her youth..hemming bridal party dresses en route to the church etc. I have found a hook and would be very keen to try to recreate flashness for my Molly girl. Possibly not in a moving vehicle due to novice status. Is there a tutorial in the future? Lisa.

Very pretty and effective . Given little girls' passion for hair decoration , you're onto a winner !
Had to laugh at previous comment . I'm not the only one who was sewn into my wedding dress on the day , then . Sonata .

I'm much the same on the too-many-birthdays-(and-a-wedding-)before-xmas front. So much for my plans for lots of handmade gifts....

Love the new banner photo AND the hairclips. SO cute. I've said this a million times in crafty blogland but I'll say it again- those kinds of creations make me want a little girl so badly! xo m.

Never a wasted moment is there!? And they look gorgeous on the girls. I should really get into something crafty a bit more portable than a sewing machine... Problem is my hubby gets car sick really easily, even watching me read the Melways whilst he is driving makes his stomach turn. BTW love the new banner, it makes my mouth water for some summer fruit freshness. Yum yum.
