Another Convoluted Giveaway Draw (x2)

As the clock TICK TOCKED TWELVE o’clock, entries for the ‘T is for TOWEL’ Tea Towel Giveaway closed.

A TEAPOT was filled with TURQUOISE labelled TEA bags...

The name-beginning-with-‘T’, TUTU-clad TODDLER, wielded her TONGS.

(more wielding)

And the winner of the ‘T is for TOWEL’ Draw One is not TEA bag TWENTY TWO but number...

Congratulations CARMEN RIGBY!

Entries for the ‘T is for TOWEL’ Draw TWO* (I’d had enough of TEA bags by this point) were scrawled and randomly (upside down) arranged.

Cue resident TYRANNOSAURUS sporting Blu-TACK.

Drum roll...(alternatively, suspenseful TAMBOURINE shake)...

TA da!

Hmn.

TA da!

Beautiful guesswork MELANIE of Sugarlemon.

* With fifty four emailed entries, everyones’ name was thrown into the mix, the first name to be drawn with VERY correct answers was deemed the winner by the independant Mr Adjudicator (by this time the TUTU-ing TODDLER had swanned off to TRICYCLE over the dog’s TAIL. Poor dog should know to TUCK it in by now).

Finally, here are the very, very, very correct answers...

Trumpet, Toast, Toaster, Tap, Trophy, Teapot, Tart, Trunk, Trout, Tortoise, Tuning fork, Telephone, Telescope, Toucan, Tasmanian Devil, Teepee, Top, Typewriter, Turf, Trojan horse, Triplets, Treble clef, Toad, Tambourine, Tree, Termite, Twins, Teacup, Tea bag, Thumb/Thumbs up, Tutu, Tyrannosaurus Rex, (Mr) Tickle, Tomato, Toothbrush, Tick Tock/Time/Timepiece, Tricycle, Tracks, Tulip, Tail, Tongs, Tapir, Tyre, Train, Tiger, Trowel, Trick, Top hat.

Thanks for entering lovely peeps. While I now need a long lie down with a soothing brow cloth and a cup of that industrial strength tea, much enjoyment was had from seriously excellent (imaginative) responses!

HAPPY WEEKEND, ALL.

Congratulations! While I didn't think that lightening could strike twice, I was so happy just to play along! You really know how to throw a great giveaway party! :)

The drawing of the giveaway nearly surpasses the actual giveaway....nearly!

Congrats to the winners.

You certainly don't like keeping life simple for yourself do you. However, we adore you for the gusto you put into everything you do. Well I do anyway.

Wow, giveaway drawings are usually pretty boring and anticlimactic if you're not the winner, but I think this may be one of my favorite posts of the day!

I missed the telescope. But were there bonus points for the text at the bottom? Congratulations to the winners, what a lovely T-towel!

Mr Competition himself AKA Chef will not be happy at the democratic way you chose the winner. I will wait til he gets home to break the news.

Wow, that beats the random number picker any day!!

Thanks, Ms T! I wonder if the Other Half will be appeased when he finds out I've won? I believe there was Something Important I was supposed to be doing at the exact moment I was busy compiling answers :)

I have a stupid question... how do your tongs stay so clean and unstained?
Oh, and bugger! I completely missed that damn Toucan.

Congratulations Carmen and Melanie.

See, I can say it, even if it was through gritted and bitterly disappointed teeth.

Oh yay! We did well with our T list! Although after seeing the effort you've put into the drawing extravaganza I don't think I dare do a give away ever again...

Ahhh I am too late - I thought it was 12 midnight!
I would not have been right though as I called tracks 'tread'.
Oh well - it was grat fun and got my brain functioning (challenge enough on some days!).

Wild applause for both winners and celebrity "drawers" ! Though even Jurassic Park hadn't prepared me for the sight of an upside down Dinosaur .
Toucan on a telescope ? I thought it was only one thing and couldn't ,for the life of me , work out what that thing could be . And yes , I'm due to go to the opticians next week .

How very clever you really are!

Oh, bugger! I can't believe I missed it! Oh, well, I guess that's what you get when you've been living in vague-o la-la land rather than blog land for too long. It looked like fun, too!

HOT DOG! Thank you! I just sent you my info. *squeeeeeeal!*

Great comp...I never did get "trick" and my "trojan horse" was a "toy"!! Such creativity left me in the dust.

Congrats to the winners! Alas, no brilliantly quirky tea towel for me, but I am comforted with the fact that I have been inspired to make an alphabet of silhouettes of my own. 33 for each letter, on account of 33 is a great number, don't you think? So thanks for the inspiration!

Sandrine said...

That was so much fun from trying to guess all those and watching how you picked the winners!
Bravo to the winners:)x
PS: and no I did not get them all even with two languages mix!

Gosh I am glad the dinosaurs died out, just think of the chaos if they all got loose with blu tak on their snouts. Eeek! Luckily the T-towel winners can enjoy their win in peace thanks to mass extinction. :)
