Steel Yourself...

...for unexpected news.

I, of the long and drawn out, attention deficient, one hit wonder* crafting, finished Thursday’s cushion beginning, TWO SEASONS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.

Needless to suggest, it was necessary to have a cup of tea and a quiet, knitty test-sit, in order to recover.

There isn’t any sleight of hand photography, either. There is also a cushion ‘back’:

I’d envisaged summery-balmy-light-breeze-languishing, in my roadside find rocking chair but today is too glorious for holding back. Dappled sun, warmish but sorta crispy at the same time.

Autumn, you are just too many kinds of wonderful today.

* There is no guarantee there will ever be a second cushion.

okay...spill. what's the secret. I wouldn't care to know if you were generally on time but I do, because, like you, I tend to be a bit of a behind schedule one hit wonder!

You are the BP quiet achiever of stitching! You claim not to be prolific but look at you go!!!
You didn't even mention the branch cosy quietly peeping out of the corner of that pic.

It was a superb day Tan, just like your cushion.

And now that I have taken another look...the cushion suits the day (& the season) to a tea...blues, oranges and browns.

Lovely work x

That is one gorgeous cushion! yay good on you for starting and finishing and enjoying it. the rocker on the other hand...hmmm...we were given one that looked just like that when we had Indi 9 years ago and it sat under our house til about a month ago when Bren convinced a couple to take it back to Melbourne with them...

That cushion is really gorgeous. When I see something like that, I start to think about stalking some talented bloggers, finding out their home addresses and trekking there so I can break in and steal their pretty things in the mioddle of the night...Um, did I say that out loud?
