The Post Where I Am Even Less Likely to Make Any Sense

Yep, I’m still here – and the eyebags are out in all their bruise-coloured glory. Such is the state of the sleep deprived, under-eye dark circles, the household has dubbed me the ‘Bag Lady’. It’s a dignified life.

I’ve had a school holiday juggle on my hands thrown in with a last minute Oh What The Heck! decision to be a part of the Daylesford Makers Market this Saturday. Never done a market before. To say there is currently a wild scramble getting something together to possibly sell, would be a minor, hyperventilated understatement. Somewhere between now and tomorrow morning I’m hoping it all comes together without the need for heat-setting tea towels at traffic lights on the drive to Daylesford.

Needless to say, if you’re in that neck of the woods, say at the Daylesford Craft Experience or the Farmers Market or just moseying down the main street, come by and say hi will you? I’ll be the one trying not to be utterly out of my depth, desperately requiring a loo break, kicking myself for forgetting filling-in-time craft...

...grateful for mostly remembering my head – but more likely nodding off in a corner somewhere.

..........................

PS. If you have emailed me in recent days, please know that I have replied. If you haven’t heard from me, it’s probably just a telepathic glitch. I’ll be using a more traditional, keyboard-style method of reply after Saturday.

Hi Tania,

I'm going to the Daylesford Craft Experience on Sunday. There is a group of us, and I am not in the drivers seat, but we are planning on visiting stores in Daylesford on the Saturday, so I might be able to pop by and say Hi. I would love to see your tea towels!

Good Luck.

Decide in advance that it will a)be a learning experience and b)a fabulous tale for the blog. This means that ANY way it turns out will be great.

And it will be. Great!

Those bags are fab.

Take some random crochet.

Bags under the eyes are so now dahlink.

BREATHE.

Cheers,
AJ

A smattering of applause slowly rolls around the ground building steadily as it goes. By the time the diminutive, curly-headed batsman is aware of its existence it has become a glorious roar.

Puzzled, she looks down the pitch at her partner who nods towards the scoreboard. 403! She raises her bat in a gesture of acknowledgment before re-marking her guard: this is merely a milestone, not an end in itself.

Those in-the-know in the grandstand readjust their boyfriend hats and settle in for the next session. truly a talent in her prime.

You and your stall are going to be mobbed with fans . You'll sell out in the first hour , which will give you time to make two more scarves and a chicken to sell in the early afternoon . And you'll love every minute !!
