Magnolias are beautiful and you've captured it so well. We have the bog-standard white with purple magnolia (but even that is amazing!) and it seems to have dumped its flowers for leaves very, very early this year. I think it's already Summer in Maxabellaland. x
Oh, the colour of that magnolia is just glorious. We have a winter and a spring to pass before I see ours, but the buds are already there. The promise of the future.
I don't think my magnolia is ever going to flower. Thanks so much for the comment on my blog...and where to I find out about this join as you go lark!!
Hi - you are celebrating the arrival of spring and up here in Guelph, Ontario CANADA we are just going into fall with the leaves of many colours - it will be breath taking in northern Ontario soon - ENJOY spring - the magnolia pictures are amazing - thank you

That magnolia is magnificent. We had one at the old house and I miss it dearly. Love love spring. Time to open up the house and blow away the smell of winter. Im glad I could inspire you to get stuck into the scraps. I find the bloggy community a very inspiring place and your website is definitely up there for inspiration. Sof
Oh how I love magnolia's and that is such a rich colour. I happened to buy a tree today and am looking forward to planing it on Wednesday. It has 2 buds, so I will be lucky this year.
Mother of three, wife to one, designer and craftster of the slightly obsessive kind. Myrtle and Eunice were two lovely old ladies who connected weekly over the Scrabble tiles. These Saturday battles of will and skill were a ritual as comfy as a hot Milo and handknitted blanket on a frosty day.

All the trees near me seem to be coming into green bud so quickly. We've had a little rain this week and everything looks so fresh.
