Courtesy of Lola Nova’s fabulously crystal clear, Mary Go Round Flower Ring Tutorial. Gloriously gratifying, speedy, crafty hits.

Which may, or may not, delightfully frame small treasures on the nearest bit of bare wall. Not that it matters – today it just isn’t about the destination.

PS. I went all renegade for half a second and tried a picot sort of edge thing on one of the blue ones. I reckon it would be fun to try some alternatives but I suspect that clever Lola Nova lady knows best.
PPS. As per Michelle’s inspired suggestion, I also raided the garden shed and used two rounds of whipper snipper line trimmer stuff instead of bangles...

Oo, I've got heaps of whipper snipper line stuff too, and that looks awfully tempting. Must... resist.... temptation..... must.... keep..... knitting......
They are really beautiful, gorgeous colours..We've a bit of lego mania going on over here too & the rain has well & truly set in...
They look terrific...you clever thing. I'm crocheting round & round making my first crocheted facewashers/ dishcloths out of unbleached natural cotton.
The rain is really giving me the pip! just not in the mood. But I'm cheering up at the sight of your latest creations! Are they Daylesford bound? I can imagine them with round mirrors inside..wouldn't that look fancy? Gorgeous colours xo see you next week!!
I'm eager to try those too. I love the idea of pretty little frames, among other things. Hope the rounds helped beat the slows!
I'm so loving the colours you have going, loving the rain and sitting with me hook, cozy on the couch. I'm going to find a bangle, I'm sure I will find a few if I did down far enough in the kids toy baskets!
those are sooo cute!
Such a lovely thing to distract yourself with x
Ack! They are stunning! The colors are wonderful. Aren't they satisfying little rounds? I like the picot. The thing with these little numbers is, they lend themselves to a bit of play and see. I've been dreaming up all the possibilities but then, the engineer tends to worry if I go in circles for too long.
Thanks for posting these!
looking lovely, gorgeous colours there - are they remnants of that splitty yarn?
Lego challenge sounds like fun. Whole day sounds like fun!
I have a 'thing' next Saturday too. I am entirely underprepared and not sure whether to be bothered by this or not. Cos it's severly underpublicised and possibly 4 people will turn up.
And want to spend 50p each!
Sweet! I'm off for a look and I love your cross stitch too!
They look fantastic Tania! Good luck at the markets :) Kx
They look wonderful. Love the idea of half hour lego competitions.
These are rather pretty!!
whipper snapper line? that must be an ozzie thing....your crocheted bits are lovely. great blog!!
Are you telling me it's all about the journey? Traitor! Tho I have to say I'm enjoying your whatever-the-heck-they'll-bes.
They're lovely. Leftover yarn from the granny-blanket-with-ends-of-doom perhaps? I'm off to check out that tutorial.
And yes, I have some serious blog reading to catch up on...
