Potter/Putter

Good Friday is usually very much a potter-about-the-place day, between the rituals of hot cross bun making and egg decorating and whatnot. But then on an unexpected whim, we ended up playing mini golf and it was more about the dodgy putting.

By the time we arrived home, the hot cross buns were ready for the baking

and in lieu of fish, seemed an appropriate(?) sort of Good Friday dinner

and then, er, breakfast.

In a pottering about fashion, I did manage to decorate

an

egg.

(Spot the easter bunnies)...

Happy Easter/Happy holidays, lovelies!

Oh my goodness, that egg is perfect!
Made my heart do a little flutter it did.
I might have to borrow the idea (?) and decorate a couple for a farmers' market stall.
Happy Easter to you guys. x

Happy Easter to you and your lovely bunnies. Your hot cross bun looks really good, and I'm thinking would be far less fattening than the shop-bought ones on account of all the kneading? Not that you really ought to worry about losing weight at the choc-fest that is Easter but I am rather a pig for hot cross buns you see.

I wonder if, in general, hot cross buns- "PROTECT THE WHOLE FAMILY FROM FIRES, RATS, ACCIDENTS AND SHIPWRECKS!"- I didn't use that recipe...but surely. Haven't had a mouse in the mouse trap since I made them (or a few days earlier, actually...).
I too, love your dressed up egg

You really do have a thing for dressing up inanimate objects in crocheted garb, don't you? Very cute!
