Pfff...Pfff...Pfff...Pfff...

Er, no. I have not been away having a baby.

Pfff...pfff...pfff...pfff...

I’ve been busily camping between two houses (don’t ask) because we decided to move with a week’s notice (don’t ask) and an internet connection seems as unlikely as a Socceroos World Cup win (don’t ask). I’ve been working my cotton socks off – seemingly 24/7 – and doing my damndest to remember to be Earthmother Person inbetween. There’s an occasional win (and it turns out I AM SO DAMNED GOOD AT THE SEX ED THING – I don’t even raise a faint blush – NOT EVEN WITH RANDOM POP QUESTIONS OUT OF LEFT-FIELD – WOOHOO!) but there’s a lot of head firmly in hands. I have been a crapola friend because I am never around and when I remember to return a call it is 3am. This has proven generally unpopular. I have shrunk (it’s not like I had a height excess thing on my side) as my spine slowly compacts with all the sitting about bizzo.

Pfff...pfff...pfff...pfff...

Today I peered past my computer screen and looked out my window and spotted this tenacious little guy. He’s about the size of my thumb. I have small thumbs.

Pfff...pfff...pfff...pfff...

Breathe.

TENACIOUS LITTLE GUY MADE MY HEART BELT OUT A BLOODY SHOW TUNE.

HELLO YOU!!

orange fungus is an excellent reason to drop in and say stuff.

btw, if it's 3am where you are, it's not 3am where I am, you could phone me instead.

I nearly fell off my perch. It's YOU in my sidebar.

All the stress. You sound like Ivor the Engine. If you haven't heard of him he was a little papery animation that was on the telly round these parts when I was v small. He was tenacious too. And Welsh. And almost indestructible. Once he had little dragons living in his furnace and they flew out of his chimney. They had Welsh accents obvs.

Love to you, from across the years and across the seas. You're doing more than ace. Just like Ivor

Well... HELLO lovely!!
What a treat to see you here again :) ...and there I was thinking this was a once-a-year kind of event now ;) haha
Totally connecting with all you're going through... (except the moving part of which every memory of ever having done it I have selectively erased from my brain). WHAT has happened to time and WHY is everyone and everything so damned busy nowadays?? I'm buried to my eyeballs too. Blogging once a fortnight (if I'm lucky) and snatching fleeting moments of craft here and there in the cracks. I was just thinking of you yesterday (spooky huh?) I'll need your new address to show you why ... :)
Hang in there hon. I wish you a smooth fast easy move and a settling down to an all-kinds-of-wonderful domestic bliss :)

That's life these days, I swear sometimes I feel like I go to bed Monday night, and when I wake up it's Thursday- no idea where the rest of the week went! I' m sure the tenacious orange fungus never has issues like that...

Hello!
Hope all is well and the move was a good next school thing and not a termite or brown snake infestation or something...
Glad you are still breathing. :) Mxx

I have missed you.

No one else I know can blog so eloquently about fungus and mold in their garden.

(Make that mould.

Next I will be telling you about the ketchup I had on my doner kebab while I put a few gallons of gas in my car...)

Aaah sex ed.
My Mr apparently described it our young bloke as something akin to sticking one's finger in one's nose.

'sigh'

Could probably do with your sex ed services …

Lovely to see your blog bits back on my screen x

It is really refreshing to read your thoughts - i pondered change today, briefly, while I ran the dog a few miles. I thought how strange that I resist it, inevitably, and then love it when its force shows me the new way. I hope we get to hear about your new home adventurings.
