Ohh no igloo for me thanks...Funny how everyone's temp acceptance range is so different;)After moving to Queensland a year or so ago I struggle with humidity but never with dry heat like in WA??But after two really cold month in Europe last Xmas was glad for the heat to be back...I am still trying to work out where would be my best climate??;)

Cannot believe you are all summer wimps. I love summer and I love it when it really turns warm. and yes I do know: Holland warm is not Australian warm but still. You all (well tan you did) never had to live in rainy, wintery, cold, wet, windy and dark holland and summer last (when you are lucky) two months. I love it when we all get the slow pace when it is humid hot and and you don't have to thnk about a coat or a jumper to take. No iglo's for me....

Yes lets all migrate. This is only the first week of hot weather and it has come on so suddenly. I dont have tanned legs at all, more like white and then go that awful red splotchy color once the heat hits them. I was thinking about migrating to Tassie as I am sure it is cooler there. Even the electricity went off yesterday which was a bit of a worry. I dont even want to think about the temps in the middle of summer, they are saying we could get up to 50 degrees this time.

I can emphasize about the whole white nearly blue leg problemo, despire me liking the heat, I don't tan, I burn then go white again!

I don't know which is worse, the heat or listening to Kiwi hubby complain about the heat. I think he has plans to move us to Dunedin for the next summer or perhaps villa igloos would work

My 1st 18 years of life was spent in cooler climes (meaning Tasmania. Some may just use the term "cold climes") That has set me up for life as a little migrated Tasmanian who lives in Adelaide where the temperature regularly gets to 35 plus in summer. Needless to say, it is a fragile and volatile relationship. Igloo sounds great!

I'm sorry, but my entire nation of Scots as you beat on the summer wimp front. If the temperatures gets to 18C people call is summer, 20C and shirts are being stripped off in public (usually just the pasty skinned, soon to be lobster hued, men!) and at 25C well...

No need to move south with the penguins. Try north. Nearly 9:30am and it's -2C and freezing fog trying to be sunshine. The frost is glistening on the last of the autumn leaves and its actually very pretty!

I only like certain things about Summer- like being submerged in a waterhole surrounded by mountains. I cannot stand the bugs.
I have long been considering a fake tan just on my legs??? But I just can't bring myself to do so... I have such fear of being orange....and I am totally with Curlypops 25degrees with a cool breeze is heavenly.

I love the heat but mostly that is because I hate to be cold. Having said that, my house is light on insulation so pretty uncomfortable already - and it's only day one of the heat wave!
I wore a new dress yeaterday and my lovely partner kindly pointed out that my legs were 'looking pretty white'.
I feel your pastey pain :)
